"Blue Moon Sunset" Original Watercolor Painting
This unique watercolor painting is TWO-10x10" paintings that, when placed next to each other, complete the 10x20" scene of the Olympic Mountains at a late sunset with the Blue Moon in the sky. The "Blue Moon" is not named so due to the color, but because it is a second full moon in a calendar month. It is always such an amazing and awing inspiring experience to be on top of Hurricane Ridge to capture the many phenomena of our skies.
This painting is mounted onto 2-10x10", 3/4" wood cradleboards. The wood is sealed for added protection, so it does not affect the watercolor paper over time. The painting is sealed with 7 layers of acrylic protectant spray to protect it from various elements and so it can be displayed without the glare of glass in front. It comes ready to hang, with wire or sawtooth hangers.
