This beautiful Lake Crescent sunset in Olympic National Park was painted from a photo I snapped while enjoying a peaceful evening with my husband. I am always in awe of Lake Crescent's natural beauty, clarity and serenity each time we take the short drive out. I often like to walk the Spruce Railroad Trail along the North side and visit Lake Crescent Lodge for a quick drink or bite to eat afterwards. It never ceases to ground me in peace and calmness.
This original is mounted on Aluma Board and sprayed with 6 layers of Varnish for protection so it can be displayed without the glare of glass in front. It is framed in a reclaimed, rustic wood frame locally made.
