"Leaf it out to dry" Original Watercolor
12x18" Original Watercolor Painting. This was a fun idea that transpired in my mind after seeing all the wonderful colors of autumn. Over the years I've always gathered the colorful leaves and brought them in to dry and photograph. Hanging some to dry & flattening some in-between book pages. They never quite dried the same inside as they did in nature and the process was always so short lived, so I decided to capture the process in a fun way as a snapshot of time. There is so many details in this if you look closely. Enjoy!
This original is mounted on Aluma Board and sprayed with 6 layers of Varnish for protection so it can be displayed without the glare of glass in front. You've just made an investment in an original painting, and it will be preserved for many years if treated right.
