10x20" Original Watercolor Painting, "Sunrise Peak at Sunset". The Olympic Mountain range in Washington state is truly a beautiful wonder to see. They are located in the Olympic National Park in the upper left of Washington State known as the Olympic Peninsula. You can travel from Port Angeles up to the top of Hurricane Ridge to see it in all its splendor. One of my favorite things to capture in watercolor is natures beauty here in the Pacific Northwest. This view is looking North-East where Port Townsend, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Glacier Peak, the Cascades, Blue Mountain, Deer Park & Morse Creek can be spied!
This painting is mounted on Aluma Board and finished off with 6 layers of Varnish for protection from the elements. It is framed in a rustic reclaimed barnwood frame with no glass in front.
